Light, Shadows & Shading Studies

Hi Antoine- I really appreciate your investigations here relating to the effects of (counter)light and shadow. My guess is that they work better in reality with the physical model- as it is hard to compare their relations in the current format you have here. Maybe the photo of the model itself could be bigger...? The 'windows' break up the forms and make it difficult to process the information from each individual test. Also- could the pattern applied to the surface be more than just tone? Cuts/ incisions/ additional patterns could differentiate between tests. Looking forward to see the physical models on Tuesday- thanks for posting- Jonathan

Yes I forget to mention that these composition now need to be print and apply on the model, and then I'll take new pictures and I will be able to compare what's working or not.
Also I really like the idea to ad more effect like cut or incisions!
